Following questions by members of the Caravan talk forum asking why Bailey caravans endorse Care-avan Nick Howard Managing Director of Bailey has posted the following statement :

In response to further questions regarding the use of certain cleaning products on our caravans, I can confirm the following:-

There is currently a difference of opinion between Fenwick’s and Senoplast (raw material supplier), Royalite Plastics (raw material supplier) Thompson Plastics (panel component supplier) and Bailey Caravans as to the compatibility of certain of their cleaning products with Acrylic Capped ABS panels.

Unfortunately for legal reasons I cannot comment on this issue further at present.

I will re-iterate that to date only two of the products submitted for compatibility testing thus far have passed the relevant test procedures, these being Care-avan Hi Tech Shampoo and Care-avan Caravan Polish, and we cannot therefore give any guarantee on the effect other products may have on these caravan components.
